In order to provide construction facilities with a complete range of the required steelworks the production department of GC “Ocean” is ready to offer the customers a number of standard products among which there are vertical metal ladders, landings to get to the roof, panel fencing, gates and doors .

Vertical metal ladder landings that lead to the roof are made of corrugated perforated sheet metal sheets. This doesn’t allow snow and water to retain at the landing and the surface doesn’t become slippery. The landing must be at the level or above the roof. It is equipped with handrails no lower than 1 m.
Panel fencing systems are made conventional, being a convenient option for technological protection of industrial facilities. Panel fencing of panels of various sizes and pillars is mounted to a concrete foundation. If necessary, fence pillars are equipped with nozzles for barbed wire.
Swing gates supplied with the panel fencing are made one – and two-leaved and are fully compatible with the fencing systems. They provide access to protected facilities for passenger cars and light trucks. They are equipped with a ground clamp and a clamp holder.
Alternatively, wherever the gates are not required the fencing systems can be equipped with doors for service personnel to access the territory.
Panel fencing systems and their components are made in the form of galvanized structures or are polymer-painted upon the customer’s request.
Various shapes and locations of transceiver equipment at mobile base stations do not always allow the use of standard design for construction and installation work. Production department of GC “Ocean” has sufficient experience in the production of any steelwork by the individual customer’s drawings.
Among various special steelworks manufactured we can mention the following: service platforms for chimneys, monolithic foundation framings, unloading frames for the antenna supports, and hardware. These products, although they have a unique design (made “on the spot”), can to some extent be regarded as standard, as they are rather often used in the construction of mobile operator facilities.
During their production we are faced with two conflicting goals: on the one hand, they must comply with the technical requirements of the customer, and on the other hand, they have to be minimally resource-intensive to make them cheaper.
In the manufacture of service platforms for chimneys the basic requirement is to minimize their weight. In addition to the financial aspect, this requirement is due to poor technical condition of the supporting structures themselves. Most of them were built in the 60s – 70s of the last century and in recent decades they saw minimal maintenance.
Service platforms are multifaceted structures made of angle steel. The platform floor panels are made of corrugated perforated sheet metal; the fence is not less than 1 m high. The fencing has points to attach transceivers. The structure payload is from 3 to 6 standard panel antennas or RRL antennas whose diameter is up to 60 cm. Installation of feeders is carried out using KO.34 cable ladders mounted on the lower edge of the platform fencing. The floor panels which the ladders run have hatches with lid.
Vertical cable ladders as well as the ladders leading to service platforms are mounted using additional retaining rings that shall be installed on chimneys apart from the already installed ones.
Retaining rings are made of galvanized strip steel sized 100 x 10 mm with a length corresponding to the wrap of the pipe at the point of their installation.
Monolithic foundation frames are another kind of special hardware mastered by the production department of GC “Ocean”.
Monolithic foundations are used when installing antenna supports from the ground as an alternative to prefabricated foundation of F6-4 type.

The frames of foundations are made of round rolled steel in two stages. At the first stage of the industrial process transportable frame sections are assembled, with their final assembly at the facility to be built. The round steel diameter used to produce the frames is defined by the designed location of antenna support.
To fasten antenna supports to foundation frames the production department of GC “Ocean” produces anchor groups of any sizes according to individual customer’s drawings.
The need to install heavy structures on the horizontal surfaces of buildings and facilities requires the manufacture and assembly of special unloading frames for equal distribution of the load on the supporting structures.
Production department of GC “Ocean” is highly experienced in the manufacture of such structures used to accommodate antenna supports (masts and towers) and hardware (telecommunications containers and enclosures).
We prepare the structures to be placed on the ceilings of buildings and facilities leaning against the bearing elements of external walls, as well as supported by the ground.
Unloading frame can be mounted using anchor-through
systems and leaning against monolithic concrete structures with embedded fasteners.
All products shall be exposed to anticorrosion treatment (hot-dip galvanizing). Transported sets are formed regarding the ability of the medium trucks to deliver them to their destination places.
