Modular protective grounding system is intended for installation of grounding devices (earthing device) in residential buildings (houses, villas), at telecommunications and energy facilities of mobile and fixed communications and industrial enterprises.
An earthing device is an modular structure consisting of 1.5-long hot-dip galvanized steel pins joined together, dug into the ground one after the other using a conventional punch or electric jackhammer with a hit energy of 20 – 2J. The connections between the pins are produced by simple threaded couplings. To connect the grounding conductor bolt clamp is used.
Deep earthing of one electrode to a depth of 15 – 30 meters is the most technologically advanced and allows one to receive a very effective grounding that does not depend on the weather and season of the year.

The threaded galvanized grounding pin is a steel rod of round rolled steel with a diameter of 14 mm and a length of 1.5 meters, whose corrosion protection is carried out by hot-dip galvanizing. This pin material serves both an electric conductor and a mechanical power device necessary for burying an electrode in the soil, i.e. it has a high breaking strength rupture limit and can be buried in the soil 30 meters deep.
The connective threaded coupling is designed to connect threaded pins with each other. The coupling is made in such a way that pins contact each other at the very center of it and the driving energy required to bury the pin in the ground is not transferred to the coupling.
A pointed tip makes it easier to drive a steel pin into hard soil.
The head guide set on the punch / hammer is designed to simplify the process of burying ground pins, as well as to improve the safety of both people and tools. While setting the head is attached to the ground pin through the coupling.
Clamp to connect the conductor allows one to connect a copper-plated pin with a grounding conductor that is made of round or strip steel (40 mm wide).
The need for the highest possible placement of transceivers to provide excellent coverage by mobile operator facilities entails the need for lightning protection of telecommunication facilities and equipment.
Experts of GC “Ocean”, highly experienced in mobile facility construction, took into account the technical requirements of mobile operators and developed a unified solution for this purpose. The main components of these systems have already been put into manufacture.
External lightning protection systems consist of three main parts: lightning arrester, conductor wires and grounding devices.
A conventional lightning arrester is a vertical pointed pin of certain height, directed into the sky. Its height is calculated so as to protect the structure located underneath. It is attached to the upper bearing point of the antenna by special fasteners. It is made of round rolled steel and has a diameter of 16 mm or 18 mm, 1500 mm long.
The customer is offered conductor wires made of a wide range of hot-dip galvanized round rolled steel or strip steel which is more economical than conventional copper conductor wires with cross section of 16 mm2 or 25 mm2.
Grounding devices can be modular systems of deep grounding or more conventional circular ground loops which make a set of earthing devices connected by a galvanized strip steel. These loops are usually buried 50 – 70 cm deep. Earthing devices for circular ground loops are made of round galvanized steel with a diameter of 16 mm or 18 mm, 3000 mm long.
Grounding buses are used to connect the telecommunications equipment and other conductive systems to protective grounding system.
Production department of GC “Ocean” offers its customers one – and two-row grounding buses made of copper or galvanized strip steel. The fasteners are made of strip steel. For manufacture of grounding buses SM35 bus insulators are used.
